Summertime Fun!

The San Juan River flow is now at 650cfs. Midge fishing has been good all day, green machine, black and red big mac, crystal flash midge in size 20-24 have all worked well throughout the day. Bateis patterns are starting to fish well chocolate and grey foam wings and juju bateis in size 20-24. Dry fly fishing has been decent, find a fish to cast to that is feeding a small midge cluster or small single black midge should get the job done. Fish have started to rise on ant patterns keep them small.
