Meals at Fisheads are built around fresh, local ingredients and the kind of homestyle comfort food anglers look forward to after a day on the water. Mornings begin with hot breakfast plates made to order. Evenings feature a rotating nightly special plus our lodge favorites, blending New Mexico flavors with generous, down-to-earth cooking. To round things out, we offer beer, wine, and spirits sourced from breweries, wineries, and distilleries across New Mexico.

Daily from 6:00am - 9:30am
Our breakfast service offers hot, made-to-order plates that start your day right, from classic eggs and bacon to New Mexico staples. It’s the perfect fuel for a great day on the river.
- Breakfast is a walk-in service open to all: guests, guides, neighbors, and visitors alike.
- We may close the kitchen early on quieter days
Lunch is to Go
Kitchen closed, everyone's fishing!
We offer packed lunches for pickup during our breakfast service, but if you’re heading out on a full-day trip with one of our guides, lunch is already included.
- If you would like a packed lunch, please try to let us know the day before. Also, we cannot make or serve lunches at lunch-time
- Lunch includes main dish, usually a sandwich, along with a side and a sweet treat for dessert.
Dinner Service
daily from 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Dinner at the Backcast Café features a rotating nightly special alongside our fixed lodge menu, blending homestyle comfort with New Mexico flavor.
- Dinner service is open to all, but reservations and orders need to be made at least the day before to allow us proper prep and planning time
- Dinner is served at set seating times, but we’re happy to help find a time that best suits your schedule.

- Breakfast service is walk-in, running from 6:00 am to 9:30 am
- We are closed for lunch, but you can purchase to-go lunches the day before. If you have a full-day guided trip with one of our guides, lunch is provided.
- Dinner is reservation-only from 5:30PM - 7:30PM. Both the reservation and food order need to be made at least the day before. We use set seating times for our dinner service, but are happy to help find a time that best suits your schedule.
- Guests and non-guests are welcome. As the only restaurant open seven days a week, we’re proud to offer a dependable dining option in the area.
- Winter hours vary depending on bookings. Feel free to call or message us for the latest schedule.
- We are closed for dinner on Christmas Day
- Just call, email, or message us to make a reservation or ask any questions that you may have.
